NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize and honor the important work of the Pittsburgh Film Office, and declare Sunday, March 2, 2014, to be Pittsburgh Film Office Day in the City of Pittsburgh.

Cingel, Claims Specialist, 411 Seventh Avenue, Mail Drop 16-1, Pittsburgh, PA 15219 in settlement of a claim for a damaged wood light pole by a City of Pittsburgh, Environmental Services Refuse truck on July 5, 2013 on Renova Street near the intersection with Second Avenue.

Resolution authorizing the issuance of a warrant in the total sum of Eleven Thousand Dollars ($11,000.00), in favor of Constantine Kafantaris, 520 North Kings Berry, Apartment 440, Chicago, IL 60610, releasing and discharging the City of Pittsburgh and Charles Lukitsch from direct liability in any and all claims in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania filed at GD 08-015446, and arising from an alleged incident on February 16, 2007 and described more fully in plaintiff's complaint in civil action.

Ordinance supplementing the Pittsburgh Code, Title One, Administrative, Article IX, Boards, Commissions and Authorities, by adding Chapter 177B, Neighborhood Empowerment Commission.

Resolution authorizing the Director of the Department of City Planning to design and host a Priority Communities Initiatives Conference and enter into agreement or agreements with necessary professionals and take other actions as necessary to accomplish the same. Cost not to exceed five thousand dollars ($5,000).

Resolution authorizing a Cooperation Agreement with the Sports & Exhibition Authority of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County and Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh whereby the City and URA each designate the SEA as their agent for administration of an FY 2014 Investments for Public Works and Economic Development Facilities Grant in an amount not to exceed $3,000,00 from the U.S. Economic Development Administration for the Lower Hill Redevelopment Project. (Council District 6)

Resolution Authorizing the joint filing, together with the Sports & Exhibition Authority of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County and the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh, of an application for federal assistance with the U.S. Economic Development Administration (“EDA”) for an FY 2014 Investments for Public Works and Economic Development Facilities Grant in an amount not to exceed $3,000,000 for the Lower Hill Redevelopment Project. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that February 15 - March 15, 2014 be declared Women of Color HERStory Month® in the City of Pittsburgh.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby officially declare February 25, 2014, as “Spay Day 2014” in the City of Pittsburgh.
