NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh recognizes graduate medical education residents and fellows for the significant impact they have made and continue to make as critical members of UPMC as well as all health care providers in our region; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare August 1st, 2018 to be “Graduate Medical Education Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
