NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby celebrate Women In Bio-Pittsburgh and Babs Carryer as she receives the WIB-Pittsburgh P.O.W.E.R. Award for her excellent services to the women in our region; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Thursday, October 11, 2018 to be “Women In Bio P.O.W.E.R. event” in the City of Pittsburgh.
