NOW, THEREFORE BE IT REOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby celebrate the remarkable legacy of Western Pennsylvania-native Paul Taylor who embodies Pittsburgh’s impact on arts and culture. The Council also recognizes the incredible work of the Pittsburgh Dance Council to carry on Paul’s work; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declared Saturday, February 23 to be “Paul Taylor Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
