NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby urge the Pennsylvania Senate and Pennsylvania House to approve Senate Bill 232 and House Bill 193 to eliminate the unnecessary cap on utility investment in energy efficiency and carbon reduction programs; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, a copy of this Will of Council shall be sent to Allegheny County delegation of the Pennsylvania State House and Senate, Pennsylvania Senate Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure Committee Chair Robert Tomlinson and Minority Chair Lisa Boscola, Pennsylvania House Consumer Affairs Chair Brad Roae and Minority Chair Robert Matzie, and Governor Tom Wolf.
