NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend Dr. Rippy for being installed as the new pastor of Good Hope Baptist; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Sunday, May 26, 2019, to be “Melvin G. Rippy Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
