NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize and commend Jon Burnett for a spectacular career in broadcast journalism and for the contributions he has made to the tri-state region and congratulates him on his retirement; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Saturday, June 1, 2019, to be “JON BURNETT DAY” in the City of Pittsburgh.
