NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize and commend Mary Ann McHarg for her dedicated service to the Carnegie Libraries of Pittsburgh and for her meaningful commitment to the Hazelwood neighborhood and congratulates her on her many years of service and wishes her well on her retirement; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Sunday, September 8, 2019, to be “Mary Ann McHarg Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
