NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire for their commitment to serving and protecting their fellow residents and we encourage the citizens of Pittsburgh to take personal steps to increase their safety from home fires; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare, Tuesday, October 29, 2019 to be “Fire Bureau Appreciation Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
