NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize Bishop Mark A. Eckman for his unwavering dedication to the Gospel, his pastoral heart, and his vision for a Church united in love and service; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Tuesday, September 30, 2025 to be “Bishop Mark A Eckman Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
