Resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure to apply for grant funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) under the Multimodal Transportation Fund (MTF) to provide funding for sidewalk construction, curb reconstruction, street and pedestrian lighting and small retaining walls on Irvine Street between Greenfield Avenue and Berwick Street/Lewis Playground. This grant proposal includes an ask of $840,000.00 with a local match of $356,452.00, included in the 2019 City of Pittsburgh Capital Budget. In the event the grant is awarded, this resolution provides for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed One Million, One Hundred Ninety Six Thousand, Four Hundred and Fifty Two dollars ($1,196,452.00) for this stated purpose.
