NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize and commend Christian Polk for mobilizing so many different resources and people to meet the needs of food insecurity and literacy in Hazelwood and congratulates Christian on fulfilling the requirements for the rank of Eagle Scout; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Saturday, December 7, 2019, to be “CHRISTIAN POLK DAY” in the City of Pittsburgh.
