NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize that Shirley Wheaton made it her life mission to be a positive example and dear friend to Homewood students, families and the community as a whole. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare, November 2nd, 2025 to be “Shirley Wheaton Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
