WHEREAS, in 2012, our Nation launched a 13-year long commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War. In 2017, The Vietnam War Veterans Recognition Act of 2017 was signed into law designating every March 29 as National Vietnam War Veterans Day, in memory of March 29,1973, when the final U.S. fighting soldiers withdrew from Vietnam; and
