WHEREAS, House Bill 1394 passed out of the House on July 7th, 2023 by a vote of 182-21. The CROWN Act is a bill that expands protection from racial discrimination by updating the PA Human relations Act. House Bill 1394 has to be passed by the Pennsylvania Senate and then it has to be signed by the Governor to become law; and
