NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend artist Jim West, his historical consultants and the board and staff of the Mt. Washington Community Development Corporation for creating this work of public art, bringing to light the history and significance behind it, and providing a worthy new landmark attraction for the City of Pittsburgh. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby proclaim October 25, 2006, "Point of View Day" in the City of Pittsburgh.
