Now, Therefore, be it resolved that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize and commend The Morningside Church of God In Christ for its endless contributions and 57 years of commitment to the Garfield community; and Be It Further Resolved, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does herby proclaim Sunday, April 19, 2009 as "Morningside Church of God and Christ Day" in the City of Pittsburgh.
