NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize Pittsburgh School Crossing Guards and commends them for their dedicated service to the school children and pedestrians of the City of Pittsburgh; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Tuesday, October 30, 2012, to be “Pittsburgh School Crossing Guards Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
