NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend the hard work of First United Presbyterian Church of Crafton Heights, the Malawi Partnership Team from Pittsburgh Presbytery, and the Presbyterian Church of Central Africa and their commitment to the partnership as well as alleviating the gripping famine in Malawi; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Tuesday, December 4, 2012, to be “Pittsburgh Presbytery Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
