NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh urges the Pittsburgh Parking Authority to continue to work with CalAmerica Corporation to identify the most up-to-date and user-friendly parking meter options in an effort to put Pittsburgh at the forefront of modern-day parking and support our local business and taxpayers; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh calls on the Pittsburgh Parking Authority to research the possibility of using pre-paid parking cards to ameliorate the hardship now faced by our residents and visitors of Pittsburgh business districts.
