NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize and congratulate Stephen Colbert for his ingenious integration of politics and comedy, his philanthropic efforts and for his appearance at the University of Pittsburgh, and recognizes the students for their unusual achievement; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare January 18, 2013 to be “STEPHEN COLBERT DAY” in the City of Pittsburgh.
