NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize and thank Carol Peterson for her tireless dedication to Pittsburgh's history, which she actively illuminates through her varied efforts as a local historian, author, community organizer, and proud Lawrenceville resident; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Tuesday, March 19th 2013 “Carol Peterson Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
