NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize the NAACP Pittsburgh Unit and Homer S. Brown Award winners Mel Blount, Charlie Batch, and M. Gayle Moss for their dedication to improving the lives of Pittsburgh youth; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Thursday May 2, 2013 “Home S. Brown Award Winners Mel Blount, Charlie Batch, and M. Gayle Moss Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
