NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend the Jewish Family and Children's Service of Pittsburgh on its imprint and impact in the Pittsburgh region and congratulates Fern Schwartz for receiving the Mermelstein Award for her leadership and dedication at the agency's Annual Meeting; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, , that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Monday, May 13, 2013, to be “JEWISH FAMILY AND CHILDREN'S SERVICES DAY” in the City of Pittsburgh.
