NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend the Jewish Association on Aging for envisioning a community in which the elderly have a suitable place to live, are socially engaged, are well-nourished physically and emotionally, receive the health care they need and are spiritually fulfilled in the Jewish tradition and congratulates the 8 respected and distinguished “8 Over 80” honorees for a lifetime of dedication and commitment to the Pittsburgh and Jewish communities ; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare June 6, 2013, to be “EIGHT OVER 80 DAY” in the City of Pittsburgh.
