NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize Alcoa for revolutionizing the aluminum industry, and for its significant impact on the Pittsburgh region; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare October 1, 2013 to be “Alcoa Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
