NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby remember and honor the legacy of Michelle Madoff-Scheske's impassioned activism for the health of Pittsburgh's citizens, and does recognize the organization she co-founded, the Group Against Smog and Pollution, and their Athletes United for Healthy Air campaign for their dedication to educating the public and promoting clean air for all; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Saturday, October 19, 2013, to be “The Clean Air Dash and Festival Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
