NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend Alichia Parker for her dedication and commitment to education and embrace her heart-felt motto, “What children can do with assistance today, they will be able to do by themselves tomorrow”; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Tuesday, October 22, 2013, to be “Alichia R Parker Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
