NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize the Holocaust Center of Greater Pittsburgh for its tireless work on Holocaust awareness and commends and congratulates the Community Foundation of Western PA and Eastern OH for its commitment to educate future generations on the Holocaust; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Monday, January 27, 2014, to be “UNITED NATION'S HOLOCAUST REMEMBERANCE DAY” in the City of Pittsburgh.
