NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize and honor Mayor Brown for her many achievements and concentrated efforts in revitalizing the City of Compton ; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED , that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Thursday, May 1, 2014, to be “Mayor Aja Brown Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
