NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend and honor Veterans who have served in any capacity to protect the rights of the citizens of the United States of America and recognize the American Legion Langley Post 496 and the VFW Post 5111 for their contribution to Veterans; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Monday, May 26, 2014, to be the“Day of Remembrance” in our most livable City of Pittsburgh.
