NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize and thank Fr. Joseph E. Swierczynski Day for his tireless dedication the people of Pittsburgh, which he actively lives out through his varied efforts as a Polish Hill resident and faithful shepherd to the people of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Tuesday, May 20th 2014 “Fr. Joseph E. Swierczynski Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
