NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend and honor T. Rashad Byrdsong for his tireless efforts in advocating on behalf his community of Homewood and the City of Pittsburgh at large ; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Tuesday, June 3, 2014, to be “T. Rashad Byrdsong and Community Empowerment Association Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
