NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh supports the proposed Definition of “Waters of the U.S.” Under the Clean Water Act and urges the Environmental Protection Agency and Army Corps of Engineers to finalize these important protections for our nation's water resources. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Will of Council shall be sent to The Honorable Gina McCarthy, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator, and The Honorable Jo-Ellen Darcy, Assistant Secretary of the Army, Department of the Army, Civil Works.
