NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend and congratulate the Women's Center and Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh for 4 decades of courage, strength and hope and recognizes October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare October 2014, to be “DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS MONTH ” in the City of Pittsburgh.
