NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize the American Chemical Society for 138 years of a visionary commitment to improving lives and congratulates ACS for holding its Central Regional Meeting in Pittsburgh; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Thursday, October 29 , 2014, to be “AMERICAN CHEMICAL SOCIETY CENTRAL REGION DAY ” in the City of Pittsburgh.
