NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend and celebrate the work and effort of Shaimma and Nermine in empowering the women of their communities and thanks all of the important organizations involved with hosting them in our great City; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Tuesday, Oct. 28st 2014 to be “Hands Along the Nile Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
