NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society for the work they have done in bringing happiness to the four-legged friends of our communities and the families they've found; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare December 12th, 2014 to be the "Shelter Pet Sleepover Day" in the City of Pittsburgh.
