NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby extend to Richard “Dick” Skrinjar its most sincere thanks and appreciation for his many years of public service to the People of the City of Pittsburgh and, does hereby recognize and commend him for his many accomplishments in both the private and public sector. The Council also provides a special recognition for his care and thoughtfulness during the illness of Mayor Bob O’Connor. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh, in honor of Dick Skrinjar’s public service, does hereby declare Tuesday, March 10, 2015, to be “Dick Skringer Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
