NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh, supports our Nepali and Bhutanese neighbors during this difficult time, and encourages concerned citizens to donate to these remarkable organizations; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare May 5, 2015, to be “Nepali Earthquake Relief Giving Day” in the City of Pittsburgh and encourages all neighbors to contribute to the relief of those who are suffering.
