NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby recognizes and honors the Pittsburgh Plumbers Local 27 for their important role in the fight for a living wage, and a safe work environment over the course of their 125-year history; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Saturday, May 16, 2015, to be “Pittsburgh Plumbers Local 27 Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
