NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby congratulates SS. Simon and Jude Parish on their 60th Anniversary of serving communities and building the Kingdom of God and commend their parish family and countless volunteers for their contribution to the longevity of the church; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Tuesday, June 16, 2015, to be “Saints Simon and Jude Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
