NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend and celebrate the accomplishments of our fellow Pittsburgher Jesse Andrews and the talented cast of this Pittsburgh-made and inspired film, thanking also all of those who worked behind the scenes to produce and organize this amazing film; and, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Tuesday, June 16th 2015 to be “Jesse Andrews’ Me and Earl and the Dying Girl Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
