NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize the Barbershop Harmony Society for promoting and preserving the barbershop style as an art form. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare June 28th, 2015 to be “Barbershop Harmony Society International Convention Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
