NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh believes that it is critical that municipalities, not state government, should have the power to make decisions regarding occupancy, and strongly opposes House Bill 809 of 2015; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh calls upon the Members of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to vote against House Bill 809. A copy of this Will of Council shall be circulated to all members of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
