NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend and congratulate Jewelry Designer Donna DeStefano for the unique distinction of showing her masterpiece ring in Pittsburgh’s Carnegie Museum of Natural History exhibit , Out of This World! Jewelry in the Space Age and for her outstanding career in combining poetry, history and literature with her commitment to socially and environmentally responsible jewelry making practices ; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Tuesday, July 21 , 2015, to be “ DONNA DESTEFANO DAY ” in the City of Pittsburgh.
