NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize Mary Ellen Barr for her 42 years of dedicated service to the City and the Department of Public Safety and congratulates her and wishes her well on her retirement; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Friday, July 31, 2015, to be “ MARY ELLEN BARR DAY ” in the City of Pittsburgh.
