NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize Pittsburgh Center for the Arts for fostering artistic expression in Pittsburgh and promoting a vibrant contemporary art scene; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare August 30, 2015 to be “Pittsburgh Center for the Arts 70th Anniversary Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
