NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend the commitment of Pittsburgh Arts & Lectures, Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, and the Allegheny County Library Association to encourage children and teens to choose reading. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare October 15, 2015 as, “Youth Literature Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
