NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend Margaret Smith Washington for her many contributions to the medical field; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Saturday, October 31, 2015, to be “Margaret Smith Washington Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
